LIFE E-VIA : Experimental campaign in Florence (Italy)

After the evaluation of two asphalt mixes on the experimental track of the Campus of Nantes (Université Gustave Eiffel), an asphalt mixture containing crumb rubber from recycled tyres has been implemented in a street of Florence (Via Paisiello), in order to analyse its performance for traffic noise reduction in urban conditions. With the Italian project partners, an UMRAE team carries out 3D-texture and mechanical impedance measurements on the pilot area in Florence from 12 to 14 October 2021.
